Ans: After completing the 5 years MBBS course from Bangladesh and coming back to India one have to sit for a competency test popularly known as the MCI Screening Test to practice as a doctor in India. Officially the name is FMGE or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE).There is no limit on the number of attempts in the Screening Test.
Q: Is it easy to clear MCI Screening Test after doing MBBS from Bangladesh?
Ans: The chances of clearing MCI Screening Test becomes easier and could be done in first attempt as the curriculum of MBBS degree course taught in Bangladesh is very much similar of what it is in India. Also the medium of instruction is in Hindi & English both which makes a huge difference.

Ans: You can do your internship in India or in Bangladesh and country where the degree is recognized. After clearing MCI Screening Test in India, one can apply for 1 year of internship in any Govt. or Private Medical Institutes in India.

Ans: Yes, one can do Post Graduation in Bangladesh after getting MBBS degree and can do PG also in India after getting MBBS degree and then MCI registration in India.

Ans: Yes, one can get a job in India in the private and Govt. hospitals/ medical institutes / health care sector etc. on return to India after clearing the MCI process.
Q: Is NEET required to Study Medical is Bangladesh?
Ans: Yes, from session 2018-19 it is mandatory for students in India to get NEET qualifying score for MCI Equivalent Certificate to study MBBS in Bangladesh. Minimum NEET Score required UG – 119, OBC/SC/ST – 96.
