FTII Launches 3 Short Courses for Admissions 2018

The Film and Television Institute of India has declared that it is launching three new short courses in New Delhi for the current academic session. These new courses that are being launched by FTII would be organized from 12th July to 3rd August, 2018. These new short courses introduced by FTII would be conducted at Indian Institute of Mass Communication which is located at the new campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University.

The concluding day to submit the application forms for all of these new courses being offered by FTI is 27th June, 2018. Once the application procedure ends, the forms submitted would be scruitnised before approval. The three new short courses being offered by FTII involve- Fiction Writing for TV, Digital Cinematography and Screen Acting. All these programs are foundation level course and are opt for aspirants who want to begin working in this field.

Admission Form

These new short courses provided by the Film and Television Institute of India are being offered as part of the Skilling India in Film and Television program, wherein candidates are trained to develop skills as well as offered vocational knowledge to persue a career in film and television. The technical skills in which candidates are trained involve the likes of cinematography, recording, editing and other production values. The fresh new short courses even involve basic acting programs. The acting courses are conducted by the in-house faculty of FTII as well as guest faculty.

FTII’s short courses are being conducted all over India. The Film and Television Institute of India is already offering a summer film appreciation course to aspirants at its Pune campus. This program commenced on 6th May and would end on 2nd June, 2018. The summer film appreciation programs being offered by FTII is even a part of SKIFT.
