Important Dates for BA/B. Com Admission 2019

  • Following is the schedule for women applicants seeking admissions to the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB)
  • Online Registration: 30th May – 22nd June 2019
  • 1st admission Cut-off Notification: 15th July 2019
  • Document verification, admission and payment of fee: 15th – 17th July 2019
  • 2nd admission Cut-off Notification: 20th July 2019
  • Document verification, admission and payment of fee: 20th – 23rd July 2019 (Except Sunday)
  • 3rd admission Cut-off Notification: 26th July 2019
  • Document verification, admission and payment of fee 26th – 29th July 2019 (Except Sunday)
  • 4th admission Cut-off Notification: 01st August 2019
  • Document verification, admission and payment of fee: 01st – 03rd August 2019
  • 5th admission Cut-off Notification: 06th August 2019
  • Document verification, admission and payment of fee 06th – 08th August 2019
  • Note: The list shall be displayed at 9:30 a.m. at all centres and the NCWEB Website ncweb.du.ac.in

Eligibility Conditions

  • Minimum percentage of marks required for applying for admission to B.A.(Program)/B.Com. (1st year) Course is 40% in the aggregate secured in anyone of the following exam:
  • Senior School Certificate Exam (Class 12) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto; or
  • Intermediate Examination of the Indian University / Board or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto
  • Indian School Certificate Examination (Class 12) of the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (pass in five written subjects)
  • The eligibility for admission to the courses mentioned above will be same as prescribed by the University of Delhi. However, the following criteria will be followed for calculating the cut-off: For admission to both B.A (Program) and B.Com., only one vocational subject will be included in the best four
  • For B.Com admissions, preference will be given to the students of Commerce stream at 10+2 level which means that they should have Business Studies and Accountancy as subjects in their 10+2 level. The other stream students will be considered for admission to B.Com with a deduction of 5% from the best four percentage
  • Admission of Reserve Category (SC/ST/OBC/War-Widows etc.) & PwD Candidates:
  • Admissions under SC/ST/OBC/War-Widows and PwD categories NCWEB follows the DU admission norms; for concession, University Bulletin of Information may be consulted

  • For BA (Program)/B.Com: All candidates seeking admission to B.A (Prog)./B.Com Course shall be required to pay the following fee at the time of admission for the first year of the course:
  • BA (Program) (1st Year) – Annual Fee 300/-; Library Fee 10/-; Enrolment Fee 200/-; Library Security 100/-; Magazine Fee 25/-; Examination Fee 400/-; Special Examination Fee 30/-; Marks Statement Fee 100/-; Annual Day Fee 5/-; University Development Fee 600/-; Exam. Form Fee 10/-; ARGF 1200/-; NSS Fund 20/-; Infrastructure Fee 160/-; Students Fund 75/-; Additional Examination Fee 100/-; Card Fee 10/-; Total 3345/-; 18. Bank Charges 30/-
  • Grand Total Rs.3375/-

  • Candidates already enrolled should note that they will be required to submit an Application Form for admission to the University examination, duly filled in separately within the date prescribed

How to Apply?

  • All Public dealing will be done between 10.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. on all workings days (except lunch time) from Monday to Friday
  • Read instructions carefully before filling up the form. Only those women candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions women residing in NCT only and other requirements as laid down should apply for admission
  • Application Form of such candidate who do not fulfill the eligibility/any discrepancy will be cancelled at any time
  • The B.A. (Program) and B.Com have been implemented for the Non-Collegiate students from academic session 2006-2007 as per EC Resolution of University of Delhi
  • The Bulletin of Information does not contain the Syllabus (detailed Course of study)
  • Students are, therefore, advised in their own interest to purchase the Syllabus applicable to the students admitted in the concerned course during the academic year 2019-20 from the Publication Unit, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, located near Dept. of Zoology, University of Delhi/or displayed on NCWEB the University Website du.ac.in/ www.du.ac.in NCWEB
