WBUTTEPA Kolkata notifies B.Ed Admission 2019-21 Notification

WBUTTEPA Kolkata B.Ed Admission 2019 – The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA), Kolkata online application for centralized admission to 2 years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme is being started on the 03rd June 2019

For all those aspirants who are willing to pursue their career in the education sector as a teacher can apply for B.Ed and the minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. the course is a Bachelor degree. West Bengal B.Ed Admission 2019-21 is yet to be announced.

WBUTTEPAB.Ed. Admission 2019-21

  • The intending students may apply online for admission to 2-years B.Ed. Program in WBUTTEPA (Erstwhile David Hare Training College) and the Govt. / Govt.-aided / self-financed colleges offering B.Ed. Program in West Bengal (as per list of Colleges).
  • Medium of instructions: Bengali/ English
  • The B.Ed. Program shall be of a duration of two academic sessions, which can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission to the program.
  • 20% of the seats (for self-financed colleges) and 50% of the seats for the WBUTTEPA (erstwhile David Hare Training College), will be reserved for Deputed teachers of classes VI-XII. Deputed teachers mean the teachers serving in substantive posts.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates who want to West Bengal University Teacher Education B.Ed Admission all can full fill the board declared eligibility. The university authorities release the admission eligibility details on its web page. For students references, the admission eligibility details are mentioning below.
  • Candidates should be Graduates in a school subject from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (General) / or in the Master’s Degree in School subjects are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with Science and/or Mathematics, with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are also eligible for admission. Such candidates are required to enter the marks of B.E/ B. Tech. in the row of Honours Degree. M.E. / M. Tech result (if any) will be entered in the Master’s Degree row.
  • Honours Graduates in school subject should enter the Honours marks only in the row of Bachelor’s degree (Honours).
  • In case of General Graduates, the total marks obtained in general subjects should be entered in the row of Bachelor’s degree (General).
  • For candidates with less than 50% marks in the honours degree, the total marks of pass and Honours subjects will be considered. If it becomes 50% or more, that score will be entered in Graduation (General) row.
  • For fresh candidates, merit list will be prepared separately for each school subject based on scoring.
  • For Deputed Candidates, merit list will be prepared separately for each school subject based on length of service.

Reservation & Relaxation

  • Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PWD (Minimum disability 40%) candidates will be as per Govt. rules. Relaxation of 5% marks will be admissible as per Govt. rules. The Reservation as stated is not applicable for Self-financed Colleges.
  • Relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed in graduation or postgraduation in case of SC/ST/PWD (Minimum disability 40%) candidates. That is, in such cases minimum 45% marks will be required instead of 50% marks.

Admission Procedure for WBUTTEPA (B.Ed. Course -Fresh)

  • As per norms of University and marks obtained in qualifying exams by the applicants, the admission in the West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) B.Ed. Program will be finalized.
  • Maximum score against marks for a different level of examinations will be as follows:

  • Higher Secondary Examination – 20
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (General/Pass) – 20
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (Honours) – 30
  • B.E./B.Tech. – 30
  • M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. – 30

For Deputed Candidates Applying for B.Ed. Programs

  • Certain guidelines need to follow by all the Deputed candidates or applicants. Firstly, all the Deputed applicants in regard to his/her service with the form are required to submit an attested copy of M.C. resolution recording the approval of Service. Besides this, some additional documents are also required to submit on the day of joining B.Ed. Programs in various institutions or universities.
  • The documents list are mentioned below:
  1. Letter of Release order from the Headmaster / Headmistress.
  2. C. resolution Attested copy with regards to his/her deputation which should be countersigned by D. I. of Schools (Secondary).
  3. Proof of Teaching certificate from Competent Authority.
  4. 3 copies of passport size photographs of the candidate.
  5. Duly filled in Deputation form available from the Institution after admission.

  • The official syllabus for 2019-20 B.Ed. admission is yet to be released by conducting body. whereas, last year syllabus is available here. and candidates can download it for reference and preparation.

Counselling Fee

  • All the successful candidates will have to pay on line Rs. 1000.00 for on line counselling that is giving preference for selection of University Department and Colleges.

Application Fee

  • Online application fees for admission to B. Ed. Program
  • Payment through Debit/Credit Card:
  • 750 + Service Charge for students of General / OBC category
  • 450 + Service Charge for students of SC/ST/PWD category

Counselling Fee

  • All the successful candidates will have to pay on line Rs. 1000.00 for on line counselling that is giving preference for selection of University Department and Colleges.

How to Apply?

  • Program Fee – The selected candidates will have to deposit Rs.5000/- (non-refundable) in cash on spot on the day of counseling for seats-booking and the course fee to be paid to the respective colleges
