What is Indian Embassy? 

An embassy is considered to be an ambassadorial mission that is permanent in a country. The person who takes up the responsibilities of running the mission is the ambassador of the country. The role of the Indian Embassy is to act as a legal link between India and the rest of the world bringing out important developments that increase the economic conditions of the country.

The role of the ambassador and his embassy is to protect the rights and interests of the receiving and the sending States and its nationals. This should be done with the permission of the international law through legal negotiations with both the receiving and the sending States.   • The Main Exam consists of written tests and interviews.

  • The candidate then joins the Foreign Service Institute at New Delhi for more targeted training.
